I am just finishing up on my Tele build and want to know about the push pull controls instead of the standard three way switch with some info on it and installing it. I also want to have the advantages of a five way switch.
I may consider standard 5 way switch if any one has a good wiring diagram.
    Thanks

Good wiring diagram? What does that mean? There are a billion possibilities for either a 5 way or, better, a superswitch. Which one you use depends on what you want. I love 5-ways because you can choose the 5 base tones you want, pick one on the switch, and modify with the tone knob. But the possibilities are infinite. You can get what you want. What do you want?

I would go with push pull myself. I don’t make use of coil splitting very much. To me it just makes them sound thin without the airiness of a proper single coil. I guess if I were truly interested in the in between modes, I would consider the 5 way.

I have a partscaster with the Barden Gatton set.
    2 push-pull pots
the tone knob pull selects HooP (half-out-of-phase) wiring
the volume knob push opens the circuit - standby switch
Versatile and functional options for 2 push-pull pots I wanted to put to use

Well I did not know that one could have billions of options but I will settle for what I like with a little testing. I am thinking towards the push pulls. Deaf Eddie that's excellent information, thanks guys.
