    Round neck resonator... what it sounds like to me. That's what mine sounds like.

    Corgan uses a 12 string acoustic on the live version I found, but I agree with the others: National Steel or some other resonator in the studio. IMG_20200225_204331.jpg

    I would go as far to guess that it is a round neck bell brass biscuit resonator.
