Anybody ever seen one of these or is it a build?
its more than likely a kit build of some kind
A) gibson only made a few guitars with a bolt on neck
B) the neck heel is much squarer than a tele neck
C) the neck pocket would have to be fitted to take a tele style neck
D) if it talks like a duck.........
If it's some bolt-on body from a factory guitar, it probably doesn't intonate correctly, although Warmoth also offers a Les Paul type body for long scale, which looked more like the real thing in earlier incarnations.
That thing looks pretty custom to me, the headstock even looks more like a Vox as far as I can tell.
I vote "kit"......
I vote "likely unplayable Frankenstein." Somebody broke the headstock off their bolt-neck LP copy, and got hold of a Fender-ish neck and just stuck it on there. Bridge positioned for 24.75 scale, neck fretted for 25.5 inch scale. Also, hard to see in that pic for me, but it looks like the fingerboard is 22 frets long, but only has 21 frets. And if that's all the description the seller offers, hoo boy.
To be fair, not a great picture to base a credible assessment on. But I would be veerrrrry cautious.
This is all the pics.
You know, with all that Fender has done to butcher a traditional telecaster. Why the hell not????
What exactly is the issue?
