What in the dang heck is this?

Found on FB while wasting time. This is a mashup I have never quite seen before, always thought it was supposed to be tele parts on a JM body not the other way around. Strangely very appealing. Seller just calls it a Fender Telecaster.
Any ideas?

Definitely a good combination. The Jazz Strat they did a couple of years later was pretty nice too.

Micro-niche nonsense. Just buy a Jazzmaster- everything else aside, the ergonomics are superb.

It's just a guitar that I think looks cool! And it doesn't have the switching insanity of a real JM, and I already know I love the feel of a tele body.
I'm not gonna buy it, just admiring, if that makes you feel any better.
