    That was a pretty guitar!!
Yes, totally agree. It takes much determination to ‘forget’ the interference. Back in 87’ I performed this hideous act (although different pickup config) on my first 4pup guitar (Strat). I was a Steve Morse fan that wanted to sound like his hero.
The pickups were/are in the way. I’ve learned to play around/on/through or whatever it is that happens. In fact, the bridge/second pickup are apparently landmarks. Sorry for the grime, last soirée, it was 93 degrees.

How do strat players that don’t lower the mid pickups do it? I remember trying to get used my first teles ashtray bridge (I removed the paint to match an earlier guitar). It took a while. Ironically the pickup that catches the most salvos is the neck from strumming. Hard to see in the pic.

There are a million reasons not to like the Parallel universe tele/strats but it looks like what I used to call home. Besides it only contains ideas that Leo himself came up with for other guitars...

I see... Thanks for your feedback, @4pickupguy !

I was tempted to go for a 4-PU guitar, with 4 Strat or 4 Lipsticks PUs, or... Etc...

It really depends on guitars for me : my Strat, my personal odd guitars are no issue, but my Tele and my G5622TLH are problematic. So I don't know if a 4-PU would be OK  or a nightmare ...

I love my teles and I love my Strats. Seems to me if I combined them I could have less guitars which I have no interest in at all.

This is the perfect Tele for ME.

It's not quite a Tele, and not quite a Stat.

It gives me A LOT of tonal options, which makes it a VERY versatile guitar.

Bloomfield didn't do that to that guitar it was a later owner who was left handed.

That's ok, but most of my discomfort comes from no arm contour on a tele. I've also done that with teles, but I prefer how a stratish body hangs on me.

I was just curious . I had a slab bodied Tele for a long time, my first guitar. My current one is a 2016 with belly cut and I really like it. So I was just wondering if you had tried one

Yes I have, thanks for asking. I loved the tones and playability, but the forearm contour is a must now days. I just had carpal tunnel surgery less than 2 weeks ago, and a lot of my hand pain came from the edge of the tele.
Comfort over speed for me anymore!! ;)

If my Tele became a Strat I'd sell it and buy a Tele.

If my Tele turned into a Strat it would live in its case, rarely to see the light of day like my other Strats.
