Scrambled eggs, 5 slices of bacon. No toast, black coffee. Oh ya, babe.

Same breakfast I have every morning: coffee, 2 scrambled eggs, 1 Hebrew National beef frank, and a half slice of Dave’s Killer Bread (organic bread) with real butter (Kerrygold Pure Irish Butter).

Starter. I buy these coffee beans at the local Whole Foods on Ambassador Caffery in Lafayette, mainly because they are the freshest roasted beans I can find. Had a granola bar and yogurt with.
I only drink one or two cups a day so I don't mind taking the extra time to do it right. One of life's little perks, like a nice glass of wine, somewhat similar imo.

Sane as every day -- a cup of Ethiopian coffee, roasted a few days ago by my friend who owns a coffee shop in town. I don't usually eat anything til around noon.

I am at a Holiday Inn.
A: a little too much of everything they have. With extra bacon. And an extra coffee.
    Feeling guilty.....

Oh! I had a banana just to help with the guilt!

This morning, besides coffee, it's my usual smoothie. It is composed of:
    • strawberries
    • blueberries
    • mango chunks
    • spinach
    • coconut butter
    • hemp seeds
    • milled flax seed
    • a date or two
    • pomegranate juice
    • almond milk
Believe it or not, I actually look forward to this. And it's probably better for me than my breakfast of 35 years ago, which might have been canned corned beef hash or spam with eggs, and sometimes was cornflakes and milk with a couple of oz. of scotch mixed in. :)

    Beer.
It's not just for breakfast anymore.

You can't drink all day if you don't start early in the morning.

STRONG coffee before the 5 kids woke up... Then, once fully alert, whipped up thick slabs of applewood smoked bacon and shredded hash browns for the rest of the family.

I'm having scrambled eggs, bacon, and biscuits and gravy in a little while. I loves me a ciabatta breakfast sandwich made with a Louisiana sausage sliced to fit, a fried egg, a slice of cheese, and a potato patty stuffed into the whole thing! Mmmm ciabatta breakfast sandwich!
