I just ordered one of these. It felt a little weird choosing a post-Nick/Howard product. None of their other newer pedals appeal to me, so I wonder if the ge version was planned by the old crew.

Not very interesting to photograph, but some bits for a P Bass build.

I've had a nice Allparts neck and a P Bass pickup waiting for a project for ages, most of the rest is out of the parts drawer, but a cheap body I just got needs some adjustment to the neck socket so I bought a routing template.

I'll need to do some woodwork around the bridge so I'll add a chrome bridge cover to hide any crudeness. I know my limitations.

The only major expense is the tuners so I've ordered a set of Gotohs

Could be months before I spend anymore.

I've added a scratchplate. I was going to have black, but when Wilko Johnson died I thought I'd go for red in his memory. He came from just across the Thames from me and I always thought of Dr Feelgood as a local band.

Ordered an aluminum switch tip that's anodized black and has a set screw to keep it from falling off. It's from ForneyCustom on Ebay and costs less than half of a Rutters tip. And these come in black and a number of other colors and designs. $11 USD plus shipping.

3 pots and a 5 way switch. I did mention earlier about eyeing a Harley-Benton PB-50 bass in fiesta red, which I did bite on and have been beating into submission ever since receiving. No planned mods but boy did it need work.

Havent pulled the trigger on anything yet, but I am pickup shopping for a partscaster strat. Think Ill go HSS, the bridge pickup in the strats always sounded better to me as a hb.

I have an SD '59 4 wire I can split. Ill probably use it...and maybe some Fralin Blues Specials with the middle reverse wound + polarity.

Probably get em comin tomorrow.
