    I am watching for an upscale MIM or American Jazz Bass... I can’t find one locally. Granted, I live in a rural area, but come’on man (hahaha)... what’s up with the used basses!?

    Try looking over on TalkBass??
    You might gind something more local- I’ll head over there and check for bourbon soaked jazz basses :)

    two on loan to family...
    One at mom and dads to play for family...
    One Squier Affinity Jazz Bass
    And my American ASAT G&L
    What’s the point? I can’t remember... sorry!

    Have you tried setting up an account on Reverb? I strongly advise setting up a Reverb account if you haven't already. Use the search and "watch" (click the star) feature on bass guitars you're interested in. Customize your feed by saving searches on bass guitar models you're interested in (you should feel free to save quite a few of these...choose the models that are in your price range). Then, every day, browse "My Feed" and "Watch List." If you're patient enough, this is a great way to find something that works for you.

    doo wop shop has plenty of jazz basses. if the bass has ever been rented out, it's used. i generally get good deals from them.
