Uhh, yes , forgot the , and of course this one
It's gone to the dogs
It makes no sense with or without smilies
Not even a comment from a moderator on this very basic of problems?
Not great customer service to be treated in such an offhand manner,or not even vaguely polite.
I'll remember come subscription renewal time.
My fave is the latest post in the Admin Announcements forum -- "TDPRI is all grown up" -- from May 2017...
My fave is that the links to the Apple and Android apps are still stickied in the Mobile App Support sub-forum. The links go to the old app in the App Store and lead to a 404 error in the Play store. In other words, they don't go anywhere, really.
This level of service and maintenance is absolute crap. I'm about ten seconds away from being done with this place.
I haven't been following along with all the 'trouble connecting' , and other issues apparently going on with TDPRI, and how to correct them. But I find myself visiting less and less, due to chronic 'tab has crashed', messages, and ridiculously slow thread opening times. And I can't be the only one of us....I hope whoever CAN fix this DOES, this was a really cool place when it WORKED.
I’m having the same problem here, and strat talk and the Squier forum
Hope it gets resolved soon, I love it here !
First I have heard that Paul left. That’s a real shame. He took what Noam Pikelny started back in the mid 90s, and turned it into a world class website. I had noticed performance issues that either would not have happened or would have been dealt with quickly under Paul’s administration.
Sent from my iPhone using TDPRI forum mobile app
Every one of their sites has gone for a sh*t! Fender Talk has been dead for about a week now. Gibson Talk doesn't even resemble the website it was 3 months ago and it's become difficult to negotiate. It has been losing the few regulars that have been there for years. I used to get on Gibson Talk, Fender Talk and the TDPRI using Tapatalk but now Tapatalk is full of ads and Gibson/Fender Talk stopped working on there over a month ago. The TDPRI is the only forum I follow that still works on Tapatalk bUT lIke i said, its full of irritating ads. So except for my iPhone, I'm currently using my browser for the TDPRI...no ebay ads.
The site administrator isn't listening to any complaints from anyone on any sites. I think they are trying to kill off the slow sites and use Tapatalk as the only method to access the main sites in order to collect ad money.
This really sucks, I love coming on tdpri ,strat talk, and occasionally the Squier forum, I’m usually on tdpri everyday from my I pad and I can access it from my safari browser but it’s a pain doing it this way. I’ve learned so much from the people on this forum I don’t want it to go away. Even when we don’t agree it’s usually a very civil forum and people are free with their knowledge !
Same here, the app was great !
It’s obvious something is brewing behind the scenes by the silence from the admin. The site seems to be getting regularly attacked from some Asian country. I’m sure everyone has seen the onslaught of posts that appear to be in Chinese script. Shutting down the app access might be a security measure. Hopefully the long-time and loyal users here might be updated on the situation soon. Loss of the app will probably cut down traffic and add revenue so there is an incentive to fix the situation.
It would be a ****ter if they did this? I cannot use the Tapatalk app, its plain frustrating. I hope somebody in charge comes to their sense's and re- instate our app. Even the browser takes the out the pleasure of using the site on mobile.
The Tapatalk app for TDPRI and our other sister-sites will no longer be supported. Please use the mobile version when browsing the site on your smartphone or tablet.
Sorry for any inconvenience caused.
Not quite sure what you mean Alex. Does you mean that we can use the mobile TDPRI App instead of the mobile Tapatalk App. The mobile TDPRI App on my iPhone and iPad still shows invalid licence message while the Tapatalk app is working fine on both.
Or, is the TDPRI mobile app going to get sorted and if so, when?
He means the app is dead and you should use a browser on your mobile device.
In other words, if you liked the app, screw you.
