What happened to the app? (merged)

It's not free for IOS? Yet another reason to stick to Android... I'm myself supporting the forum by paying for membership, which has the added bonus of being ad-free.

Last couple of days I have only the Walmart pop up lock up thing twice. And this is liveable, but for a while I could not open one single post without getting the lock up ad. Downloaded tapatalk yesterday and not a fan of it. Trying adblocker to see how that works. I use an iPhone and never a computer or laptop to get on here. Would be a shame to lose all of this.

 

I have tried to contact the owner of the Forum using the links at the bottom. I have asked a few questions if i get a response i will post back. I aint building my hopes up!!

 

I've tried the delete and reinstall on both my iphone and iPad; no dice. This, combined with the 'ad free' scam from the drawing is the last straw for me. I've been here since 09, but I'm gone. Whoever owns this forum now doesn't care about it or it's users. I emailed them for an explanation about why I'm still seeing ads after a raffle ticket promised ad free and a banner (Don't care about a banner, but still). No response. I can take a hint....

 

Same issue here, "Invalid License". Uninstalled, reinstalled, workd for a bit and now back to "Invalid License". The phone app really worked for me. Hopefully this can be resolved.

 

Gave up and installed Tapatalk. Took a while to get it set up but seems to work ok. Layout and interface is less intuitive but ok once you get used to it. Not deleting TDPRI app yet in case it does get updated then I will go back to it.

TDPRI is 100% unusable for me. I cannot read far enough to find an answer, using my iPhone browser all I get are redirects. The app doesn’t work. Please forgive me if this is redundant or old news, but I can’t see if it is.

Well at this point I'm not sure who the owners are, and also suspect that the owners are not admin.
Seems there's Tapatalk, but they are neither owner nor site host?
Tapatalk does some management and makes the app we can still use?
Then there's that other company @soulgeezer mentioned, clearchannel or brightscreen or whatever, but I'm not sure that company owns us, they might just be the host.

But to contact somebody, when I tried to upload pics in the then soon to be defunct TDPRI mobile app, I got a report popup, and duly reported. (three times)
So if you have the old app, reinstall it so it works for a little while, try to upload a pic, and you should get a report popup.

Maybe the Tapatalk app has a contact us option?

I have trouble getting connected even with a desktop, sometimes hours at a time.

I remember when the site was down for a whole day not too long ago, but it seems unusable for several hours every couple of days.

 

I deleted the app with the intention to reinstall. It was android version 5.0.1...something. Couldn't find it on the Play Store. There is a version on Amazon App Store (3.something). Tried it but get "Tdpri has stopped" message. I liked the app better than Tapatalk. Grrrrrr.

I don't need TDPRI enough to use Tapatalk. And this'll be a great way to cut down phone/pad screen time, too.

Let's just hope the system rot doesn't take down the actual forum...
