It's the one he is playing in the Solos Jazz Session DVD.
Does anybody know if he still has it?

Don't know but I like his Guitar in the Space Age CD! I didn't occur to me that The Doors "Riders On The Storm" sounded just a bit like "Pipeline" until I heard Bill's version.

I watched the film about hims and he's got a pretty deep closet FULL of guitars! He looked overwhelmed as he ventured in!
According to Philip Watson's biography (p321) Bill Frisell had to catalogue his guitars for insurance just after that incident and admitted to finding 63.

So I guess the answer to the question @takauya asked is "Probably."

No idea, but whenever I see pics of his guitar/music room in interview articles, there are lots ... and lots ... and lots of guitars. Can't imagine he'd have any reason to get rid of that one, but who knows. (well Bill does!)

There's quite a lot about Bill's guitars in the Philip Watson "Bill Frisell, Beautiful Dreamer" biography. It's clear that he was a serial guitar monogamist (at least in performance and on record) for much of his career until recording the "Ghost Town" album in 1999 when he used 7 different guitars.
