The hard edge and top binding indicate it's a Hamer Sunburst, which was a really dumb name when the guitar was available in solid colors, as well. The Special was similar, but had a rounded edge and no binding. Hamer started in the late '70s and a lot of people played them during that post-punk, new wave period. James Honeyman-Scott of The Pretenders, Billy Bremner of Rockpile, and Martin Barre of Jethro Tull all played Hamer Sunbursts in those days.

Here's mine, a MIK import that I have upgraded American specs.

I thought the Sunburst had a carved top, and the Special had a flat top? I’m super hazy, though. My Hamer trivia hasn’t been dusted off in twenty years.

I had a Hamer special p90 for years. It was a great guitar. Wish I still had it.

I had a metallic silver one with P90s. It was a semi hollow with an F hole on the upper half. What an insanely fabulous guitar. But at the time I had a half dozen electric guitars, and all of them had P90s. I decided it was overkill and traded a bunch of them for other stuff. When it came down to keeping one awesome P90 guitar it was a fight between the Hamer, and a chambered Guild Bluesbird 90. The Guild won. I wish I still had that one, too.
