I'm pretty much a Gibson guy. But I'd go for a good tele.

I have never separated gibson/epiphone as brands so; much as product lines, or fender/squire.

I started out with an epi. Still have it. I guess that is in part why I like Gibsons.

My guitar heroes always played either strats, or les Paul's.

I really just go by how it feels first, then sound. There are so many I like.

Hope to have at least one Gretch; one day.

Friend of mine has a Taylor electric. Funny thing. Nice axe though. Kind of a lp jr, with strat style pickups. Nice neck.

Ibanez - because i freekin' love my Iceman.
ESP - never played a bad one, and the M-II is one of my all-time favorite guitars.
Jackson - because there is no option for BC Rich. While i'm not a huge fan of the newer BC Rich guitars, their 80's offerings were superb.

Fender. I've also a Vintage LP with P 90's but the neck is not my cup of tea

Gretsch and Fender are my two favorite brands. Despite having some good models, just not a huge Gibson fan. For acoustics I am partial to Ovation. I also like other brands not mentioned on the list, such as Danelectro.

I voted for only guitars that I own (or have owned) and that would be Fender (4); Gibson (1); and Epiphone (1 Elitist). If I had to pick just one it would be my Elitist Casino!

I also have a Heritage H555 which I suppose could be considered a Gibson, sort of... I love that guitar, just not as much as my Casino. I figure John, George & Paul had it right when all of them played one.

EVH is a Fender model. In fact, the EVH models are actually made in Fender's Mexico factory.;) Check 'em out sometime.

That's because it's an Acoustic Guitar brand obviously! I made this a list that includes brands that aren't focused towards Acoustics. I stated this right from the start in case you didn't already read that, ya see?

It's an Acoustic, that's why it's not here! This thread said no Acoustics, so obviously you didn't see/read that part, ya see? I'm not ignoring the brand, just the type. Read up next time.;)
