Living in the country where the world's best olive oil is produced I don't really have any choice...
Olive oil and vinegar or olive oil and lemon are more than fine.
The quality of our vegetables is tremendous anyhow so they don't really need any excessive dressing to start with :)

My favorite salads are Caesar and Greek, but if I'm just having a normal garden salad then I reach for the Ranch dressing.

Mayo and ketchup for a Russian base. Occasional add ons like Parmesan cheese, ground anchovies, spices.

    Salad cream. Basic, but good.
Olive oil + balsamic + whatever herbs suit the salad ingredients. Other than bog-basic salad cream, which is also delicious on chips ( fries ) and smooshed with tuna, I don't like store bought dressings and make my own to suit. I despise mayonnaise in all its forms. Mayonnaise is the ejectamenta from the sores and pustules of the chicken of despair.

    Salad cream?

Well I'll be dang, it googles right up. Sounds a bit like mayo ... or maybe a base for ranch dressing spices.

Rasberry infused red wine vinegar, olive oil, salt and pepper. I use to make all kinds of will concoctions, but keep in simple now. Sometimes I substitute the red wine vinegar for Balsamic.

I’ve been enjoying Virginia Brand Visalia Onion Vinaigrette for several years now

One of my favorite kitchen inventions
    1C white sugar
    1/2 C white wine vinegar
    1/3 C peanut oil
    7Tbs Soy sauce
Grated fresh ginger to taste. For me aprox 1 1/2 tsp
Mix in a sauce pan, bring to boil (stirring) for 1 minute. 60 sec max!
Let cool and serve. It’ll keep for 6-8 weeks in the refrigerator, if it lasts that long

I just like extra virgin olive oil with balsamic vinegar and salt and black pepper. Simple and wonderful as well as quick and easy.

Whatever I’m in the mood for depending on what else I’m eating. Dressings are so quick and easy to make. So is vinegar. What a world! Food. So good.
(Well, vinegar isn’t quick. OK fine.)

Generic supermarket own brands. I like blue cheese, Italian and French dressings, along with Mayo sometimes.

I usually order some version of vinaigrette, but blue cheese has been my favorite ever since I was a kid.
