Mine is the name of the best dog I ever owned and my first name. No, my first name isn't Gypsy.
I had a friend who's brother's name was the letter J it appeared on his birth certificate as just that, "J"

It is the name of the best band I was ever in. I started using it on forums years ago and just continued to use it on every forum I join.
Mine is meaningless. If I remember correctly, the ones I wanted to use were already taken and Blinky popped into my head and voila.
If you go to the main forums page it says Telecaster Guitar Forum and my name is Mike.
It's my first name. Duh.
I always thought it was "Thank God (It's) Friday Mike". We'll there ya go...

A friend at work hung it on me back in high school. I put it on my name tag. Only guys who worked at the same pizza joint in high school knew me by it, until I resurrected it for TDPRI.
Mine is from the TV show Andy's Gang. Andy Devine always introduced the trouble-causing frog, Froggie, with "Pop your magic twanger Froggie!". And, my 66 tele is a magic twanger for sure.

First name is John..I'm a man..born in '72. Not real interesting...I came up with it in about 2 seconds when I signed up on this site several years ago. I, too, would have put more thought into it if I'd known I'd spend so much time on this crazy website.
My friends who like to use nicknames wind up melting my initials BB into Beebs.
I added Tele-(beeb) 'cause I like Tele's ( and tdpri)
Oh... and the play on words Tel-Aviv
It's Polish for, "He that knows everything, except Polish".
