From Eddie Taylor song, recently covered by the Rolling Stones

And before them, Bukka White, whith his hit at the time, Shake 'em on Down..

Listened to these songs forever, but what does all that mean, really?

Thanks

It's what you do when you're playing "mumbledy peg."

I wish somebody would tell me what diddy-wah-diddy means
Doo wah diddy is just a meaningless exuberance like 'a wop bop a loo bop'

I understand 'ride em on down' to be some cattle herding cowboy thing: suspect it is about being forceful in controlling animals

Might use it more in everyday life now I thought that

What does "Ride 'em on down" mean?
When you are breaking horses "taming them".
You ride them to the point of exhaustion.
Instead of riding for a short period and then jumping off "dismounting".
Which has taken on other connotations, ie. bedroom prowess
