What does NGD stand for? New Guitar Day?

Yep, you got it. But if you post a NGD, make sure to include pictures.

If you're a generalist it can stand for New Gear Day. But some folks like to get specific: yesterday I saw a New Conga Day.

Being new here, what's the best way to post pics of the NG? (by the way, I use a Mac if that makes any difference?

The easiest way in general to post your own pics on the internet IMO is to open a free account at a picture-hosting website, such as www.tinypic.com. You upload pics from your hard drive to their interface, and they provide you with a URL for the pic. Then when you want to post a pic here at www.tdpri.com you click the little picture posting button and paste that URL into the pop-up window. Voila!

Actually, in his shop and mine, NGD always means "no good". Big Letters, Magic Marker. As in, don't use as a blank, but as blocking, perhaps a spacer or partial pattern. But don't use the wood or metal etc. in the airplane or car or whatever you may.
