what does NGD mean?

NGD is not just a day, it's a state of mind. It's that happy feeling you get when the new guitar first comes home and everything else in your mind takes a back seat to playing the new axe. It's wondering if this new guitar is gonna be your new #1. It's assuring your other guitars that you still love 'em and won't neglect 'em. It's having to explain to your significant other that this new axe means as much to you as her new pair of shoes does to her (actually it's more, but you can't convince HER of that...).

I haven't had a NGD in a while. Maybe it's time for me to have one. My wife just gave about 50 pairs of shoes to the Goodwill, so there's room in the house for another guitar. Now, do I build it or buy it?
