Since Telecasters/Broadcasters/Nocasters/Esquires are kind of all the same guitar which do you like the best? I started off only knowing about the Telecaster but something about the Nocaster seems so exotic and rare that I want one even though its just a Tele still really. The Esquire always reminded me too much of Squier which as a kid was taught inferior though now I have a respect of them too in their own place.

I'd want Ron Kirn's signature on mine. And of course have it built by the great Ron Kirn himself.

My initials, in ghetto Sharpie scrawl.
    The shamrock is important, too.
It was given to me by a lady friend (not ladyfriend-there’s a difference).
My avatar critter was originally that color, with a MOTS pickguard.

Started as a joke. Wanted my initials on it somewhere. Kinda stuck. Wife named the last one after her terrible dog.

It can only say any of those Fender TM names, if it is a genuine FEIC or FMIC product and those guys put the imagining on there.

If it ain't genuine Fender, some of the above examples really show the way. Excellent! Or, just leave it plain - that's cool.

If your headstock says, "Nocaster" it's obviously a fake because Nocasters didn't have a name printed. However, if you've got a Broadcaster, you've got a treasure. If you don't want a piece of history, you can always sell it and buy a dozen more recent vintage Telecasters. So this is an easy quiz that almost nobody got right!

I figured a cream blank headstock would scream "not a fender"... to save any misconception ...:D

Oh my ... please forgive me. I'm sorry that I didn't appreciate what a serious endeavor this thread was, with no room for humor. But, for the record, I can assure you that neither of my grandmothers knew what a Nocaster was.

Don't Care! How it plays & sounds is far more important.
