You could use it just to make your friend happy. It looks like a fair amount of time and effort went into it.

I like it. Not sure about the colors, I'm red-green color blind and see things differently than those with normal color vision.

It's OK do something unconventional with the pick guard. Makes you stand out. I think you should use it.

That is pretty cool. The fact that a friend painted it for you makes it special, too.

I like it, and would like it better with the lettering removed. The poster-like image is really cool and the color looks good on that paint IMO.

I’m digging it a lot. But I’m a huge fan of anything I haven’t already seen a million times. Traditional is not my thing at all.

Let me just say that I am old...that should let you know my thoughts.

That said, it only has too look good to the player....nobody else counts.

More and more I've been working towards really following the: .."If you dont have anything nice to say.." rule.

So much, in fact, that quite honestly I'm feeling more than just a *little* pent up.....u know, and since YOU ASKED, I have now elected this as a perfect time to exercise a demon AND cop a nice release.
    So, here goes....

Utterly repugnant...and if the pickguard alone weren't enough, the remainder of the package only makes it exponentially worse.
    Ugh.
    Seriously, i hate it!
So much that I couldn't even quote the OP for fear of having to view it again.

    smh...

    SMFH!

I've been *dying* so tell my wife exactly what i think about her new hair color...u know, but THAT truth definitely wouldn't do me any favors.
So...thanks again, for letting me vent.
    :)

I absolutely love that pickguard. But not especially with that color.

You must be about 90, because psychedelic painted guitars were popular in the 60s.

Don't take my post too seriously. :p

I think the pick guard is fun, but not the one for the long haul. To me that “mist” color benefits from something strong and contrasting, just not those colors. If it were mine, I’d try something like “black” tortishell. 6BEEA1F4-F578-4CE0-A1A2-8E1A49FFD72E.png

I'm not much on guitar finishes and pickguards and all that.
it's all about construction and sound/ playability to me.

    All that drama just stated,
I think that pg is really really cool!!

The colors in that pickguard do not complement that guitar, but it's your guitar, do what you like.
