What do you think of a hybrid pickguard on a non-Thinline?

    Does it look "wrong" without the f-hole that this pickguard is meant to accommodate?
    Or just a valid alternative to a regular pickguard?
    Seems that at least Suhr is doing this on some of their dual HB T styles.

    I love the look. Would have done it on my CVC but for the existing holes.

    It's one of those design things ..... 'beauty is in the eye of the beholder.' It's your guitar, do what looks best to you

    Thickness at neck heel is a bit over spec. I will sand it down, then I'll be able to lower the saddles.

    Probably referring to the extreme saddle height.

    That's obviously a Strat. No...I see..it's a Tele. No...it's messing with my brain, like when you look at a 3d diagram of a box, and it keeps flipping around!
