Sometime I sit and have a discussion with the dog. He only talks to me when no on else is around.
Just about everybody possible, from Karen Carpenter to Vampire Toilet.
I have the same problem and already been labeled the Town Nut. Mothers avert my look and gather their families together as I walk down the avenue-LOL! All Because they can't hear my Dog talking back to me. They don't see her smile either, but thank God I have the Dog, because she automatically makes me a happy and loved Town Nut, not for me, but the Dog-LOL!
She is the reason I have a social life.
+1 on some Norah Jones.
Also old american roots, and some Celtic chant stuff...
Not an Abba fan at all but don't hate them either. I do love this Abba cover.

In a 15 minute span you could hear Sinatra, Slipknot, Slick Rick, Slayer and Son House

I listen to whatever I want whenever I want. It doesn't matter if I'm alone or other are around. If people don't like what I'm listening to, they are free to leave.
Lately I've been listening to a lot of stuff by Patti Smith, The New York Dolls, Wayne/Jayne County and the Electric Chairs, the Dead Kennedys, Public Image Ltd. as well as some hipster bands that my kid got me hooked on. I don't even know what their called.
BeeGees pre Saturday Night Fever.
