400 dollar. ensenada plant. 2015. mustang amp and gig bag. would be a 50th bday present to myself. 😇

i feel like theres gotta be something wrong with it. but its a 22 year old who bought it in high school and has no tine to play.

do i dare even try and get it for 350 less the amp? im not really interested in it. i see them all the time for sale. lol.

Yeah. i figured if it doesnt work for me i could likely sell it for the same or more. ive never been a fan of gold hardware, but for some reason it looks decent to me on this one. might be rose colored glasses.

is there anything useful about a mystang amp? ive not liked modeling amps in the past but i can keep an open mind.

@schmee are u getting old like me and cant see? fender. mexican. its on tge headstock front and back. wood looks like a decent grain although i cant tell how many pieces. or if that matters. two piece maybe???

was gold hardware normal on a standard? seems like it would've been a different model.

Tiny pic and I couldn't read the headstock.
In today's world that's a bargain at $400 without the amp. Great body grain and gold hardware makes me think is a special model.. can't remember which though. Not a Buddy Guy or his name would be on it.

Gold hardware is also not my cup of tea, but the guitar still looks cool. I especially like the wood grain.
For 350$, man that is cheap. You could never get it for this price here in Europe.
If you are talking about the Mustang LT25, that is the amp I use and it is great.

The S/N MX15142153 is legit.

Deluxe Player Strat, 3TSB, ash body, gold hardware, vintage noiseless pickups, built 10/2015

You need to have already bought this, otherwise it's probably down the road with a quicker buyer. The deal is a steal at that price.

That’s a decent Stratocaster for a more than decent price with a throw away amp. Or don’t throw the amp away. Use it as a front porch amp. I can’t imagine life without a Strat.

MiM Strat, grab it now. The CNC machines are programmed to not know where they are installed. That’s a steal.

Damn, buddy. You stole it.

3TSB = 3-tone sunburst. Black, red, yellow if you're thinking in primary colors.

Prices on anything is way up right now, but buyers are scarce on used gear. Sounds like he has no need for it, but could use the cash (who couldn't these days).

Be a sport and give him the $400, you can unload the amp later for cheap or donate it to someone else who needs it.

(I guess it is a moot point since you already purchased it...bargain)

ok i spent a few hours getting the grime off. one issue i found was that the claw for the springs in the back was waaaay to far out. there was practically no tension on the trem springs. it likely was not ideal. maybe it didnt stay in tune well and the action higher than he wanted. i literally had to drill it out so the screws would seat further.

im pretty sure this pickguard is likely worth as much as i paid for the guitar. eh?

dont have strings on it yet. lots going on. gotta put it on the backburner til tomorrow. im hopeful though. cuz as bad as it was set up and grimey it still felt somewhat playable. lol.

more pics. 😁

not exactly sure what the white button is but it seemed like either a bass boost or bass cut. maybe you guys can tell me. in order to plug it in it was an outside outlet. and it was 5 degrees out. so after about 5 minutes i was getting cold. lol. i checked it over wuite a while in the warm though and played it unplugged. the strings were only replaced once about 5 years ago. lol.
