Oh no ! One must savour the flavor !
Blasphemer! People that swallow oysters without chewing their delicious flesh may as well just consume wads of wallpaper paste...
Great minds and all that!
How do you post something? I'm new here and you were the first person who came up! Thanks

I didn't wanna look uncouth one night when I went to dinner with my boss, when I was still working and we were in Reno. He and his wife ordered escargot, I was still drinking, and drunk enough to eat the ugly looking boogers, that's what the looked like, boogers out of a horses nose. Anyway, they tasted like butter, and garlic, and riverbed mud to me. That's been more than thirty years ago, and I haven't had the craving for 'em again yet, but I ain't dead yet, could happen.
Not to change the subject but, wouldnt it be cool if Morgan Freeman did your eulogy?
What do French snails wear in the kitchen?
I would expect little black dresses with a white apron.
Wads of wallpaper paste!!!..that's it!!!!....I was trying to think of the best way to describe the taste of oysters! Thanks, william tele.....I should have guessed you would know!...
..and by the way, I like mine with LOTS of cocktail sauce and horseradish.
Because the wine goes in the sauce, not getting them sauced?
Y'all know why the French eat snails, right?
They can't stand fast food!
Escargot taste like butter and grass.
That's pretty generous.
It's what's on 'em plus what's in 'em.
It's posts like these that make me wish there was a LOVE button sitting beside the like button.
I really do.
That can't be bettered.
During my years in Germany, we would request of the waiter,
"Ich würde gerne Schnecken und Knoblauch Toast bestellen, bitte."
He would reply, "Ja, sehr gut. Und zum trinken?"
"Oh, und ein schönes glas Weißwein."
Snails, bits of old car tyre in garlic & butter
