Blasphemer! People that swallow oysters without chewing their delicious flesh may as well just consume wads of wallpaper paste...:lol:

I didn't wanna look uncouth one night when I went to dinner with my boss, when I was still working and we were in Reno. He and his wife ordered escargot, I was still drinking, and drunk enough to eat the ugly looking boogers, that's what the looked like, boogers out of a horses nose. Anyway, they tasted like butter, and garlic, and riverbed mud to me. That's been more than thirty years ago, and I haven't had the craving for 'em again yet, but I ain't dead yet, could happen.

I would expect little black dresses with a white apron.

Because the wine goes in the sauce, not getting them sauced?

During my years in Germany, we would request of the waiter,

"Ich würde gerne Schnecken und Knoblauch Toast bestellen, bitte."

He would reply, "Ja, sehr gut. Und zum trinken?"

"Oh, und ein schönes glas Weißwein."

    "Ja, sofort."

    "Vielen Danke."

    "Bitte."

    :)
