The rule is jam tomorrow, and jam yesterday; but never jam today.

    You’re not alone in that.
Everyday feels like Sunday to me.
I never liked Sundays when I was young.
    Nothing going on.
Now that I’m not young, I like Sundays just fine.
I “get” the day of rest thing.
I’d like to have something going on.
I know that’s up to me, of course.
The phone ain’t ringing with people seeking my services.
I ain’t alone in that either.
    Anyways, stay well my friends!

It's TODAY! Take no thought of the morrow, we'll get to that when we get to that.

Since I retired, what DAY it is is less important than it used to be, but I still like to keep track. I have a clock in my bathroom that shows not only time, but also day, date, month, and year. (just in case, you know?) I got a call from my financial advisor earlier today, wanting to schedule a "tele-conference" for next week. Instinctively I checked my calendar to see if I was available.......Stupid!....I don't have ANYTHING on my calendar for the foreseeable future. ;)

    It's free Epiphone day.

I was watching the BBC news this morning & one of the announcers introduced some news & said it was March.
2 minutes later her co-announcer had to say, actually we're in April now.

It's today. I know it is, because I haven't done the stuff I promised my wife I'd do tomorrow yet.

Before there were 2 days of each week: days I had a gig, and days that don’t.

    now there’s just the one

I'm 70 and retired. I used to let it slide as well but I've changed my mind. I now realize that it's not a bad idea to keep track of the days even though every day's a Saturday or a Sunday.

I’ve been retired a little over a year now so I’ve struggled with knowing what day it is every week since then. All I know is it’s great having 6 Saturday’s and 1 Sunday every week. It is definitely harder to keep track of now in light of current events.
