If you have never seen the Reverend, you will not be disappointed.
At the drive in at Roundhouse in London, and The Stone Rose at the Etihad Stadium in Manchester. Looking forward to both. Haven't seen ATDI since around 2000, or 2001.
Blue Oyster Cult at BB King's in New York. Two shows, in April and July. (I also saw them last week with Vanilla Fudge and the Blues Magoos.) I can't get enough of those guys. Donald "Buck Dharma" Roeser is my favorite guitarist...by a mile.
I'll also be seeing a number of local bands/artists and friends throughout the year.
If the weather stays clear we are going to see Bill Frisell Tuesday night at the Ardmore. In a few weeks we are seeing Jorma Kaukonen.
i'll be seeing david gilmour in april at MSG. after the price of that ticket.......... i don't think i'll be seeing any other shows this year.
Just found out I'm going to see The Who. I wouldn't have gotten tickets but since someone else did I'm going and will have a blast.
Sting & Peter Gabriel in July here in MA
Jupp! And he was SMOKIN'! Lots of twang and not one cliché. He played one faux bariton tuned down to C and one tuned in open C. But of cause i love her singing and songwrighting!! Superb!
Adele, I bought 4 tickets. I hope it's worth having to be on a diet of leaves and ice cubes for the next 4 months....
Robben Ford usually plays a really nice club here once a year so I'm sure I'll go if he shows up.
I'll tell you what concert I won't be seeing - David Gilmour! He has 3 or 4 days between L.A. and Vancouver and he's not playing in the Bay Area??
Last time he played here (about 10 years ago) he played the Paramount, a great old Art Deco theater in Oakland, and got rave reviews. I missed that show and swore that the next time he came to town I would see him.
I can't believe he's not playing here ...
Last night saw Umphreys McGee at the National Theater in Richmond. What a great sounding venue. Later this month it'll be the Wood brothers at the Jeffeson Theater in Charlottesville. Then JJGrey & Mofro at the National. TR -3 is playing our little bar venue here in Harrisonburg, a definite. Wide Spread Panic in April.
Haven't gotten past April with plans yet.
Funny thing is I didn't go to a live show for 20 years till about 3 years ago. Since the. I've seen more shows than I can remember.
Bet that Wood Brothers @ the Jefferson will be the best of all of them!
We just saw Davy Knowles on Friday. Upcoming concerts include:
The Who - 3/10
Joe Bonamassa - 5/13
Jonny Lang - 5/19
Tedeschi Trucks Band is very high on the list of shows that we still want to see this year so I'm watching future tour dates.
Greg Dulli, then Iggy Pop with Josh Homme & co. in March. Saw RIDE back in November and that was a great show!
Stringbanger....this will be the 4th time....lol. Yeah he does put on a great show, and usually has a great opening act!!!
I have tickets to see both David Gilmour shows in Toronto next month.
The only other one that's currently "planned" is James Taylor in May. Others will probably come up but nothing else is planned.
