During the '69 Memphis sessions, Elvis Presley recorded a song titled, "A Little Bit Of Green" and, IMO, it's a gorgeous song. However, in the chorus there is one single chord (played by Reggie Young on acoustic) that I cannot figure out!! It's a bit of an odd chord (to me) and it comes after the line, "when I see you/with someone new/(insert chord here)/and knowing that there's nothing I can do"

Can ya'll help me out?? Any help is very appreciated as always.

    Thanks,
    Tony T.

The speakers on my computer are awful here at work and I don't have a guitar. If no one has hit this up before I get home today I'll check it out again. It sounds minor to me, but with as bad as the sound is, and straining my ears for all I know it could the opposite. Do you know the chords before and after it? That might help me or someone else out to bridge that gap in the middle.

The chords right before it are Bb/Eb/Bb. The song is written in "A" then it modulates to Bb for the chorus and goes back to A for the verses. The minor chord isn't played in any part of the chorus.

Hope that helps a bit. :)

I feel like it's on the tip of my fingers. I'm not sure if I'm right but try this out and tell me what you think. I kind of think there might be a G in there but this sounds close with or without the G on the bottom Screenshot_20171108-113028.jpg

Edit: Wow that's a huge picture

    Bass goes to E, I'm hearing E fully-diminished chord.
