You could get a Fisher Space Pen and be able to write songs upside down, on almost any surface. Just like you can with a pencil...
Or... a Planet Waves right-angle cable and a Snark tuner...

Some inexpensive things that have made some impact for me.
Streamlight Nano flashlight. Having a light on my keychain has come in handy on several occasions.
Leatherman Micra. A small keychain multitool has helped as well.
Oliver Sacks' Musicophilia. Fascinating case studies on the brain and music.
Mediterranean Diet cookbook. Switching to this diet has greatly improved my health and life, and I'm nearly half the size I got to post-accident.
Powerstep Pinnacle insoles. More than $25, but they help my goofy feet hike.

Agreed... probably the best $$$ I've spent in a long time. I have three now. Also gifted one to my father in law and brother. A huge hit all the way around. It's the sort of thing that makes me wonder how I went 20+ years without it.

I've just bought an oxygen saturation pulse oximeter off Amazon.
Zojirushi vacuum insulated mug. I've put ice in mine on Friday, forgot about it, and on Monday it is still full of ice! The Japanese are fanatical about their insulated products.
Toilet paper and paper towels are still hard to get here, unless you go at 6am right when the stores open. And hand sanitizer and wipes are still non-existant
