I've seen (in person) many different variations and shades of LPB. Of all the colors I think this one has the most variance in shades. I haven't seen enough Agave to have an opinion or know the variances in that color.

My own taste is that both those colors are more appealing than the Sonic or Daphne...but then I also DETEST the look of mint green pick gaurds. I think I'm just a pastel-a-phobe...LOL!

Roasted/baked/torrefied whatever you want to call it, flame maple.
I love the Suhrs like that so I scored some wood in a really nice color.

It's funny that before the clear Maui looks way more like Agave. It really deepened with the zillion coats of clear.

I prefer this combo: LPB, rosewood, white (well, almost).

I have a 2008 Standard Telecaster (MIM) in Electron blue. I added a black pick guard and a three saddle bridge later, very nice.

That's almost just like mine except its agave blue. Add a bucker.

I'm not much of LPB fan, but I think Agave Blue is a great color.

Agave, white, maple. (Relicing optional, courtesy of a couple of overactive 10-year-olds.)

I thought for years I wanted a LPB Tele, then I found that my local store had a pair of Strats in stock: one LPB, one Agave. One day they were hanging side-by-side and I realized I'd been fantisizing about the wrong color all that time.

My son has a sonic blue CV P-Bass and it's really cool, too, but it needs a rosewood neck for that '60s vibe.
