My latest favorite is "The Nevers", an HBO original. Excellent. Amazing production quality, a bit steampunky.
I also enjoyed His Dark Materials, waiting for next season.

I was watching a Korean time travel thing for a while. Sisyphus I think. Borgen, a drama about Danish politics. Occupied about Russian intervention in Norway was very good. All the Scandinavian crime series, Bordertown, Deadwind, There was another set in Iceland I liked too. Secret City an Australian series was good. Most Australian shows don't appeal to me for some reason.

My family also enjoys The Good Place series on Netflix. It’s a sitcom about the afterlife, what it is like living in heaven, free ice cream everywhere, etc. It’s not my thing, but it is tolerable. Ted Danson plays the main character.

Whatever show my wife gets me sucked into. Right now it's Cable Girls (Chicas Del Cable) a soap-ish show about a group of lady phone operators in Spain in the 1920's.

Drive to Survive.

(I am biased though because I love F1 and follow it religiously.)

I follow the sport too, but seriously even if you don't - Formula 1: Drive to Survive is extremely good documentary filmmaking. Storytelling, editing, directing, sound, drama, tension, competition, glamour, money, speed, high stakes, beautiful settings, international travel, personality clashes, 'splosions... it's all there. Great stuff.

Poor acting and weak stories would be my guess.

I got Netflix a couple of months ago after avoiding TV for most of my life and have to admit I love being able to watch series without having to wait till next week or next season, so Netflix is my guilty pleasure.
I worked the three shift system most of my life and keeping up with TV was always a problem, so I just didn't bother

I'm not sure if I would call it a "guilty pleasure," but I did enjoy Fran Lebowitz and Martin Scorsese's Pretend It's a City, which was shot just before the current unpleasantness descended, and is a fond look back at Manhattan from the 1970s (when Lebowitz originally arrived from a small town in New Jersey) to the late 2010s.

Hi.

I actually do feel guilty (or, a bit of a dork) about enjoying some shows which really are made for teens. The Irregulars and Shadow and Bone recently. Stranger Things too. I see too, a second season of Ragnarok is coming.

Edit: oh yeah, and as mentioned a couple of posts above, that Eagle Fang guy.

"Derry Girls"
"Grace and Frankie "
"The Kominsky Method "
"Club De Cuervos" . And the mini series from that "The Ballad of Hugo Sanchez "

It seems NF is only interested in series that run a season or two. I was hoping for more Mindhunter. There were some that I was disappointed that there weren't more.
We went through just about all that interests us on NF, we switched to Crave (which I believe is Canada only) and now on Acorn and Amazon Prime. We will come back to it later.
