1. Butterscotch Blonde
2. Two tone sunburst (50s strat)
3. Candy Apple Red
shoot -- or maybe
I think I need another Strat...
Can't remember what I might have said before...
Tahitian Coral with a parchment guard and rosewood board... yum. Especially on a Strat.
My Trans-cherry red on ash
I don't like metallics generally, or bursts on Fenders specifically, so I'll go with:
1) Olympic White
3) Dakota Red (I really like my Rangoon Red Strat, but that's a limited-edition color)
Oh, crap--I forgot Shell Pink, which I thing is gorgeous. I don't have a guitar in that color, though.
Lake Placid Blue
Also like Fiesta Red, Olympic White, Gold Sparkle and Daphne Blue.
3 tone burst (my SRV'S blend is perfect)
Paisley (well aged w worn fretboard)
Lake Placid or Daphne blue (tie)
Oof, tough one!
I don't have any guitars in those colors currently, but a guy can dream . . .
Candy Apple Red
1. original '68/'69 pink paisley
2. 3-color sunburst
68-69 Blue Flower
Don Rich's first champagne sparkle
Mary Kaye white
One colour to rule them all ........ Candy Cola Red
One colour to find them .............Fiesta Red
One colour to bring them all .......Olympic White
... and in the darkness bind them
Anybody tabulate the results yet?
After a quick read, I'd guess Olympic White may have the most votes.
We have similar taste. I agree with all of your choices, and put them at the top of the list, but for sunburst, I generally prefer a more “bullseye/ “clownburst.”
That white blonde is about as good as it gets for Telecasters.
