"The Fender Telecaster" Dave Hunter, some good read and loads of pretty photos. Nice one for the Fender collection IMHO.

I'm on a Plath kick at the moment. I saw the movie with Gwyneth Paltrow a few weeks ago and have rediscovered Sylvia. Next might be Anne Sexton and more Bukowski. I found out there's a book on the life of Richard Brautigan, my favroite poet, so that's on the list too.

Pete Townshend's book among other things. It's pretty interesting. Much better than Keith Richards book.

Last week a friend gave me a copy of Florida Roadkill by Tim Dorsey.
I had never heard of the guy or the book before. But I read it in a few days. And it was great.
Now I'm moving on to the rest of the series.
I'd compare the storyline to a Tarrentino movie. Violent, but in a sick, twisted ,demented way that makes it funny.

    I highly recommend:

    Tom Rob Smith

    Child 44
    The Secret Speech
    Agent 6

    If you're into foodie stuff:

    Gabrielle Hamilton

    Blood, Bones & Butter

I haven't read these yet but have the books. In the style of Douglas Adams:

    Robert Kroese

    Mercury Falls
    Mercury Rises
    Mercury Rests

How did you like it? I enjoyed it, but didn't think it measured up to Speaker For The Dead or the parallel novels that follow Bean's life.

Just got started on it, so far so good.
I've read Ender's Game, Speaker For The Dead, Xenocide and Children Of The Mind and now I've moved on to this one.
I haven't read any of the Shadow series(parallel novels). I plan on moving onto them after finishing the Ender's series. Have you read all of the Shadow novels? If so, how are they?

BTW The movie version of Ender's Game is due out Nov. of 2013.

    Viper Pilot.

Non-fiction by a career fighter pilot. Probably of interest to the aviation enthusiasts around here.
