The one I have is the Moog Theremini. It has a multitude of features (scales/modes/sounds/effects) and a little onboard speaker. It has stereo outs that sound fantastic when amped up.

It is waaaay more difficult than it looks.

same here. I wish it was possible to emulate one on guitar. It might be possible, be volume swells or a volume pedal maybe ?

At the moment I'm working on reading single note lines without tab, working them out starting from different strings, playing them from memory, etc. for example the lines from the supplement to the Aebersold ii/V7/I volume.

I have been messing around with guitars for a long time but never learned to finger pick. So I have been learning Travis picking. I am finally making some good steady progress. It has been really interesting because I don't think about what I am playing with a pick. My hand feels directly connected to my brain and I never think about what my right hand is doing. It just does it.

But now, holy cats, I have to concentrate every second. And still it will occasionally fall apart like a row of dominoes falling over. Pattern, pattern, pattern, then ... kaboom! Just chaos. :)

It has been fun though. :)

Intervals, fluidity with runs, scales and arpeggios "chord connections", movement. And tone.

Honestly since WFH started my sleep has been disrupted and I've been working about 12 hour days, I can't help myself it seems. I thought I'd have *more* time to play but actually there is less :/

Figuring out where the notes are on the fretboard....working on solo parts in every key!!! Intense to say the least but it will be fun when gig time comes

Get yourself an E-Bow--the version II with the 'harmonic' selection. It sounds incredible and is a whole lot of fun!

I'm working on my flatpicking...good practice for accuracy, timing and melody...and things like circular scale exercises are good for exercising the old phalanges......

Frankenstein by Edgar Winter.. starting my 3rd week of it (guitar lessons). Weird mix of stuff, some of it is transcribed from the organ parts, hard to hear. There's some super cool funk stuff in there that I totally can't hear on the track.

Working on some fingerpicking stuff based on chord intervals... playing the chords & arpeggios up and down scales.

Just watched a Keith Urban live DVD last week, so learning the Stupid Boy solo. I'd say I'm 70% there. Also learning some easier ones like Better Life.
