Again, after the fact:
  • Nothing But The Blood (Orchestra Prelude)
  • When We All Get To Heaven
  • Blessed Be Your Name
  • Great Is Thy Faithfulness
  • Jireh— Choir Special
  • Great Is Thy Faithfulness(Invitation Hymn)
The choir and praise team were all women, of all ages. It was Mother's Day.

I was out of town last week thanks to my niece getting married and this week the stage is torn up for a community event we're hosting. So I'm going low-school with my Yamaha acoustic and one other guy singing with me - a long way from our frequent 2-guitar, bass, keys, drums, 4-singer mode!

Come Thou Fount
Amazing Grace (Chains)
There Was Jesus
Softly and Tenderly

It sounds completely different, and nice.

Saturday Night Recovery Service:
Child of Love
Honey In The Rock
Build My Life
To The Table .. I'm on banjo
The Blessing

Sunday Morning (2) services
Jesus We Love You
Gratitude
What A Beautiful Name
No Longer Slaves
Goodness of God

Both services are at the same church.
Two different bands, but the lead guitarist and I play in both. Lots of fun and keeps me on my toes.

Pentecost Sunday at our church features

The People of God (Come We that Love the Lord, reworked with a new refrain)
The River is Here
Raise a Hallelujah
Holy, Holy Holy
God on the Mountain
Psalm 100
(an original that sounds like a mashup of Stand By Me, Sam Cooke's Chain Gang, and harmonies ala Monster Mash)

What about you?

Is that the arrangement that starts with the two notes a half-step apart repeated over-and-over? If so, it's a great arrangement.

During the lockdown, we choir members listened to the demo arrangement over earbuds and recorded a selfie video which we sent to the music minister. Our tech guy at the time stitched all the videos together. The vocals were all synched and the video looked like a giant Brady Bunch, with everybody's individual face on the screen. It was really good. One of the few fond memories of 2020.

Nothing this week! The praise team has the week off.
I am preaching at a nursing home in the afternoon and will take an acoustic to lead on It Is Well and Crown Him With Many Crowns.

Cool sets for both services!

Again, this is after the fact.
All of my posts in this thread are courtesy of my OCD wife, who has to write stuff down, such as the songs/hymns sung in the worship service.

I miss "bulletins" with the order of service.

Last Sunday:
  • When I Survey the Wondrous Cross (Orchestra Prelude)
  • 'Tis So Sweet to Trust in Jesus
  • There's Nothing That Our God Can't Do
  • All the Way My Savior Leads Me
  • How Deep the Father's Love for Us
  • When I Survey the Wondrous Cross
  • When I Survey the Wondrous Cross (Invitation Hymn)
