No, I don't mean true love or inner peace.

I've wanted a Jordan Boss Tone since I was 13 or 14. I almost stole one once to get it. Last Friday I found one in a pawn shop for $20.00. It exceeded my expectations. (see my post in the Stomp Box page under "Pawn Shop Score")

So is there something you've always wanted but it slipped through your fingers? Or is there something you always wanted and found? Was it better or worse then you expected?

    The floor is open...

in my band in college, our other guitarist used a fender lead III that our drummer found in a pawn shop. It was heavy as sin, but man, it had some of the most sparkly clean tones I've ever heard.

Never really searched one out, but I keep my eyes open. Not the most amazing guitar ever, but I'd love to have it, mostly for sentimental reasons.

I neeeeeeeead a A/B/Y pedal so I can run 2 amps without turning them on and off with the volume knobs, just can't justify the cost.

    Oh - and a Gold Top........and a SM 57......and a SM58. And that's all I need.

And a Tele set of Fender Vintage pups. And that's all I need.

Twelve string electric between $500-$800 that I can play first, like an Italia Rimini. Played lots of others, including Ric, but have not been satisfied. And no, not interested in shipping one back under a money-back guarantee.

I scored one of their phasers at a pawn shop for $40. I'm looking for a Les Paul Gold top, Epiphone or copy.

A red Strat. One of my earliest memories is seeing one in a poster, and thinking "I need to learn to play guitar so I can have one just like that!". I'll probably never buy one because for some reason I now only buy vintage gear, but I have promised myself that if an old one ever crops up within my price range on eBay I'll buy it.

At one time I had everything I was chasing. Nocaster,52 AVRI, Albert Collins, custom shop les pauls, Tim White pick ups all sorts of stuff. Sold it all to pay my dog's $15,000.00 vet bills. Still have the dog and have built up a more modest collection.

I love my dog too, but wow!

The only thing I'm wanting for our band is a powered subwoofer that sounds great and weighs less than 80 lbs.
