What are the classic Tele recordings from the 1960s?

I’m talking about songs which are well known and the sound of the Telecaster is obvious. That would sort of progressively rule out higher gain/fuzz things, e.g. everyone knows Led Zeppelin I was recorded using a Tele, but everyone’s surprised to hear that (at first).

    Green Onions?
    Dock of the Bay?
Spirit in the Sky? (A Tele is featured in the video)

Some Beatles records spring to mind: there's a burning Esquire (Paul) on Sgt Pepper, and quite a lot of tele in Let it be and Abbey Road (George).

    Also: Mike Bloomfield

And, well Jimmy Page's tele sounds are quintessentially tele to me, none more than the Stairway solo!

Not 60's but: Dale Hawkins, Oh! Suzie-Q (James Burton, guitar)

Honestly (along with Steve Cropper/Green Onions, as you already mentioned) to me this is the Tele-est record of all.

A lady played the main guitar parts on this. I think her first name is Carol and a NYC area studio player.
    (Not Carol Kaye).

I always thought the first two Springsteen albums were great for, among other things, his rhythm playing and the sound of his tele(Esquire). The song, Blinded By the Light is a great example. The guitar on the intro into that song is, to me, nothing short of wonderful.

    Great Tele tone.

    Also

It's hard to pick the Les Paul Jnr in bits, but the rythym sounds like straight 'caster.

Piper at the Gates of Dawn. Syd’s playing is totally different but you can sure hear the Tele.

I think he was using his 62 Esquire for Piper. The singles after that album and the three tracks where he plays on Saucerful of Secrets he was playing an early 60's Tele.

For The Madcap Laughs (also in the 60's) he was playing a Tele Custom.

I thought Tommy Bolin played a Tele. My search shows the only reference to to him was, "Everyone knows about the two Fender Strats - the Sunburst and the wood finish one with a Telecaster neck".
