    its a viable opinion.. i will gladly put any of my LP's up against your tele's...i will play your music first..comp for you swap leads..dont care what genre..then you do same for me..i bring 1 Lp & a plexi..then you state your opinion and guess what..LP's aint my fav..but they got it

    I think a different route is probably good. Finding the manufacturer specs and working to set a guitar up as per those specs. They won't all make sense, but they'll get you away from relying on someone else's method.
