I'm hoping for a 5E3 or PR but, Fender will milk the DR and Twins for all they are worth, I bet head and cab versions of one or the other.

I am not interested in the Tone Master amps at their current price point.

I might be interested in a ‘64 super reverb or ‘64 vibrolux reverb.

A head and cab Vibroverb would fill a slot nicely.

doesn’t really answer the OP’s question...

I would love to see a Vibrolux TM. Though I suspect you’re right, probably the DR and TR for awhile. I would guess they want to make sure the ROI makes sense before making new ones. I was a fan of the TMDR, so I’d welcome more options.

    Princeton probably.

A PR and a DR though? My impression from being here on TDPRI is that the Princeton Reverb is the most coveted Fender amplifier, but they went with the Deluxe, and they know more than I do. Is there space for both? With Fender right now, I'm thinking probably yes, they way they are milking the aging boomers.

How about a '59 Bassman? Or did they already do that?

I'd probably love a ToneMaster Princeton Reverb, just as SF or even RI's just cost too much!

Enough power and features for me and my gigs.
I'm sure I'd be fine with the modeling sound.

    * but it would have to be $400 max!

If I were Fender, I'd do one more BF in the shape of the Princeton Reverb before moving on to the tweed stuff. There is no incentive for them to do much more than that, otherwise, it would have a negative impact on their Mustang series.

Based on the current TM range, and if Fender were to follow my train of thought, I would propose future TM amps to be a High Powered Tweed Twin (Clapton stuff), a 5E3 deluxe, and perhaps a 5F2a Princeton.

A power-scalable ‘59 Bassman would pique my interest...

Yeah, a TMDR head and cab would be nice and easily doable.

That would be awesome especially if they could do a high watt model, say 50 - 100. I love those Princeton cleans.

A generic TM head should be able to be (re)programmed to give you any sound Fender wishes, eh? I think the TMDR and TMTR have the same power amp -- the difference in output watts is down to one versus two 8 Ohm speakers, so the amp sees 8 Ohms versus 4 Ohms.

What would be the "correct" price point for a great amplifier? And "it should have tubes to be that expensive" is not valid in my opinion - you can get a new tube amp for $299. Tubes does not equal a great amplifier.

TMs are lighter and have scalable power. I don’t think it makes a lot of sense for Fender to release small amps in TM version. My bet would be for something like a 59 Bassman, Tweed Twin, Super Reverb… those amps that have become totally “niche” because of their weight and volume.

I would like to see Roland rerelease the GA112 in a pine cab with a neo speaker . A 4 channel Dyna amp is a thing of beauty

Mine too, especially at probably half the weight of the present tube version.
