When I was in a band I used a Classic 30, or a SS Fender Princeton 65, when I wanted a lighter load. Now that I play only at home in a tiny one room apt., and since my ears are shot, I play at very low volume levels, and the best sounding amp I've found for that, after trying dozens, is the THR10C. I also have the Mustang LT25 and Katana Mini, and I find them very nice at low volume too.

An early model JCM 800 (2204) that I once had, and a Rockitt Retro 50 (68 Plexi clone) that I currently have. Both great, but a bit different.

Now that I play single coils exclusively, I prefer a Fender for cleans and off-clean tones.

When I play with some grit, EL84 type amps...Vox, Matchless, and their ilk.

I've plugged teles into so many good amps. Top favorites:
    • A modded, mid 60s Gemini II Ampeg. Had 6L6s, a tube rectifier. Sounded ungodly good with a partscaster tele, chambered ash body, Don Mare "Nancy" pickups.
    • '68 Deluxe Reverb, now in a 1x15 cab, using a 12" speaker (Weber 12A150). Sounds especially good with a partscaster, 2xP90 tele.

    Greetings from Sunny New Jersey
Out of all the working amps I own, the best amp for my Tele is a 1990 solid state Princeton 112+.
Not because it's especially great - it's because it's the only working amp that I own.
