Oddly enough, mine gets along best with the cheapest tube amp that I own, a Gretsch G5222. The middy raunch of that little amp is just perfect to my ears. My other amps require an equalizer and/or a Tube Screamer type pedal to get the same effect. Part of the problem, I realize, is that I'm not much of a fan of the classic scooped, twangy, trebly Tele sound.

I knew a guy that had a 1970 or 1971 Vibrolux Reverb. I'm no vintage Fender amp expert, but I recall this being a Silverface (they started the Silverface in the late 60's, like '69 or so, right?), but he had some cap values swapped in to make it a Blackface circuit. Oh man, GLORIOUS!! I was so bummed when he sold it and didn't even let me know he was going to list it. I would've bought it in a second. I'll hope to track one down but need to do my research and know what I'm getting into. Also, not sure if the re-issue is worth looking at. I'm sure all the vintage aficionados would turn their noses up at a reissue!

That Tele color is amazingly stunning. Daphne? What model Tele? More details please!

I keep going back to a 5e3, black plate 5751 in V1, Mesa 6L6s, pine cab, Jupiter speaker, etc. But, I've got others that are flattering too with my fav MIM. I really should sell everything else, save space and upkeep?...Nah.

My best two amps are a Fender SRRI and an all original Peavey Heritage VTX. They are also two of the only three amps I own. The Hot Rod DeVille leaves something to be deisried.

After 12 years with it I let go of my Twin in favor of this one. Super versatile and killer tone.

The 3 best so far I've played are:

81 Vibrolux Reverb (the last year with Blackface cosmetics)
    Princeton for clean
Mojo 5E3 for a wide range of options clean to crunch at low volume.

Both my G&L ASAT Classic and my Vintera Baja sound great through any amp I plug them into. Made it so easy to go to jams/open mic nights pre-Covid and plug into backline amps.

If I had to pick one amp that is the best match for my Tele-like objects, it would be my PRRI. Glorious cleans, can cop some Bill Frisell tones, yet snarl with the best of 'em.

I don’t have a pic of the Bassman Ten readily available, but I liked that amp so much it had to be mentioned.

I posted pics of the Vibroverb.

Down to one amp atm. Can’t praise this little Joyo amp enough. Complete overachiever. Ive played my Tele through a Twin and a JTM45 clone. Sounds great through them all but if I had to choose one I’d go for the the JTM45.
