I forgot about rocksmith! What a fun game, and impressive amp models given that's it's basically a toy.

Either one of my Blackstars, HT 20 or Club 40. As Mr. Lumbergh says MV is a wonderful thing

And the zombie thread lives. OK, then.

I have found no better amp to play at home than my '69 Twin. These amps are truly wonderful, even at low volumes.

I can tell you that an Acoustic GW20 is awfully loud, with the gain cranked up.

Ha, we've gotten to where we really only do covers that are on rocksmith because me and the bass player both have it, so there's all these songs we both just already know note for note. It annoys the crap out of our drummer and other guitarist. After the last round of Pearl Jam songs we made the joke that we might as well just become a Pearl Jam cover band... and then we booked a gig where we cover all of Ten for early next year at a frat, lol.

The sound quality is quite staggering. I didn't realize how good the sound quality on the amp/effect sims was until I hooked up a headphone amp and a pair of Sennheiser HD800 headphones. It's honestly better than most of the software emulations out there. If Rocksmith released an iPhone app that was just their amp models that accepted something like an irig input, I'd buy it in a heartbeat.

    Right?

It's not a bad teaching tool and it's fun to do. I plug in the turtle beach gaming headset and that's my Saturday mornings.

Got to say that I've been using my Fender mini Tone Master quite a lot of late.

Great cleans, decent overdrive, and it has two (3") speakers!

    Perfect for round the house.

2 times Blues Jr. was mentioned before (BTW). I use it with attenuator or without (after all it has master volume). The attenuator has a tone switch for the headphones and I use them as well. And there is a choice between two speakers with different sensitivity.

    My Classic 50 twin. :)

I generally play my electrics only when nobody's home.
