Here is a pic of my Turkish Oud. I used to play that a long time ago. I should, one of these years, get it restrung and gone over so I can learn how to play it again. oud#1.jpg.jpg :)

This has been posted before, but any excuse:

It’s a headless Telecaster, with a tunomatic bridge. The body is double bound to try to protect the points. It was being made for a Christmas gig, but the event was cancelled

Regular old-timers have seen some of these before. Mostly refinishes.

At the same time I bought the Copper U2 I bought a Daddy-O Yellow DC. I sold it a couple of years ago and still regret it. Just makes me sick. Looked just like this one.

Hey Trev you probably know Bill Ryan? Used to see him back in my youth here in Sydney in his duo with Steve Sampson that had top class guest musos sit in, Rex Goh, Jim Kelly, Ben Butler, Andrew Thompson, Phil Emmanuel, many more

The nights at the Haymarket Hotel were some of the best nights in my early days, tiny pub packed to the rafters, people dancing on tables, girls on fellas shoulders, took half an hour to get served at the bar so we'd wear long jackets with huge pockets and buy Strongbow longnecks 4 at a time..

I have a few unusual ones. My most unique T-type is this Meck Strelecaster.

But there are some uncommon shapes in my stable.

    A pair of Backlunds

Love it: and the last 5 words of the story really made my day! It is a fantastic bit of kit — but I think many of the team here would think it falls a bit beyond the (reasonably elastic) definition of Telecaster! (Because it doesn’t have a blade switch, of course.)

    I forgot about this:

The First Act Volkswagen "Garage Master" guitar. Free with the purchase of certain VW models in 2006. It has a built in preamp circuit with switches for distortion/fuzz and mid boost.

Slash, John Mayer, and Nigel Tufnel did commercials for it.

    This one's mine.

All my guitars are modded in some way, but I’ll go with my 2019 Epiphone Moderne. Pretty much unplayable out of the box but with a bone nut, a bit of fret leveling, and a great setup by my guitar tech it now plays like butter.
