Mutts, followed by mongrels, then mixed-breed.
I've had dogs almost my whole life, White Shepherds the last 9 years.
For me it could only ever be a Jack Russel...... Here's my Best Pal - Leonard ! ;-)
Vienna All Beef Hot Dog......mustard, onion, relish, with a pickle spear.
I'll just go with two favorite pound puppies.
Henry is a Husky/Fox Hound mix and I have to admit Huskies and Malamutes are among my favorites.
Dora is a Hound/Terrier mix whose high strung as all hell but so sweet, affectionate, and well behaved I can overlook her insecurities.
Man - now I want a dog again !
Lots of great looking dogs in this thread
We have fallen hard for dobermans. Sweetest dogs.
I am not a dog guy, but if I were.
German Shepherds. Just love them. I have also grown incredibly in love with Greyhounds since I got a retired racer, fantastic dog. I've had 2 'best dogs ever', a GS (Lilly) and a big black something-or-other with GS thrown in (Max). I still miss both of them. But mostly my favorite breed is just dog.
I like all dogs but if I had to pick a breed, I'd probably pick a Beagle.
Chesapeake Bay Retrievers.
3 year old Gordon Setter
Chocolate Labs are friendly and handsome.
Somebody digs their M&M’s
17 years ago I wouldn't have considered small dogs but my wife is a big fan. I quickly became one too. Casper on the left was with us for 14+ years; we had to say good bye to him last year. Miss Muffet is still bringing joy to us daily. She is the "grand dame" of the house and sees me as her faithful servant. Smart, funny and very willful even at age 16+ and pretty much blind and deaf but still undaunted. She's One Tough Muff!
Mutts - like me!
I'm just a dog lover. I have had dogs my whole life and I do not think I have a favorite breed. Right now we have Gordon. He's a German Wirehaired Pointer. Gordy is 9 now and starting to mellow out a bit, but still a puppy at heart. Great family dog.
Great name for him...of course his name is Gordon, he looks just like a Gordon!
