It doesn’t have to be music made in 2019, just something you came upon for the first time last year.

I watched the documentary Searching for Sugarman right at the end of 2019 and have been hooked on Rodriguez for the last few weeks.
If anyone is unfamiliar I highly recommend the movie, and his two albums, Cold fact and Coming from Reality.
I only mention 3 because they seem to have interchangeable members. If you discover one of these bands, You're likely to check out all of the various projects. Good, fun stuff.

Heard this performance first, I believe. Then I saw them at a free show they played nearby.
A very talented folksy versatile Americana duo ( plus others on tour) great vocals guitar, mandolins, strings
I hadn't heard of the band until I ran across their acoustic performances with piano, classical guitar and vocal.
I searched further on YouTube and found that the band is a synth pop band. I'd never realized that there was such a thing. This is new in 2019, Death Stranding, the theme from the video game. I find their music very creative and the synth recordings and performances mesmerizing.
These are representative. There's a lot more out there including full length concerts.

I would recommend discovering "The Plugz"
also tele relevant, Tito seems to play a mid 60's model on this album.
