With the broad diversity of pickups on the market, I was wondering what everyone has installed in their favorite Tele.
Currently have Fralin Blues Special Neck and Bridge.

I am very happy with my avatar's 52 American vintage pickups.

AV64 pickups are also very nice IMO, especially the neck unit.
Cavalier pickups are also very good, Rob is a great guy.

I love my Fralin Teles. Both mine are stock wind but hybrid staggered.

My favorite aftermarket pickup so far has been the Cavalier Fat Lion. If you want a Tele/Esquire pickup that straddles oomph and twang (with a slight lean toward oomph), that's a good one.

I like the Ford F-150. Am especially excited about the new electric one coming in 2022.

I love the N4 Noiseless pickups in my avatar Telecaster. I get an amazing range of tones from smooth to twang and jazz tones I love with the pickups in series. And I get it all with no noise or hum.

The Tele in my avatar has a Cavalier Fat Lion in the bridge, and a Fender CS Nocaster in the neck. An incredible combination that that covers just about everything.

My other Tele has a Cavalier Huge Lion in the bridge and a Cavalier Fat Lioness in the neck. Very P90-ish...I call it my "Les Paul Special Killer".

The Fishmsn Fluence T pups... in my new Reverend Koch T!

I've had almost 2 years the Fralin Split Rail medium hot set, and even Suhr Andy Wood pup set for my Fender Performer Telecaster:

And the Performer pups are so good that I still may never put either set in, and use them for something else!!

    Pure vintage 64’s! In my A.O 60’s

As for non stock a antiquity II in the bridge and a (I believe) 55? Seymour Duncan tele neck pickup in my pink paisley tele

I’m usually in the “I bought it because I like it why change the pickups?” Camp but...I bought the paisley without being able to play it first and it had a high output rail pickup in it And I wanted “period correct” to the period it’s a reissue of/more traditional

I can't say that I have one favorite set. My three gigging Teles all have different sets in them for different purposes. My Thinline has a Custom Shop Nocaster set, the MIJ '62 Custom has a PV '64 set and the '52 AVRI has a Dimarzio Super Distortion T in the bridge and a Seymour Quarter Pounder in the neck. For the different genres that I use them for they're all my favorite pickup sets.

for my tele, I really enjoy the dimarzio area t hum cancelling neck pickup. no hum, but plenty of single coil-ish clarity and texture. very cheap on the used market. I think these are kind of underrated.

and in general, I love my old Kay guitars with "speed bump" pickups. They are probably my favorite pickups ever, they just sound completely different depending on your picking technique, attack, and position relative to the bridge.

if another player picks up one of these, it sounds like a completely different guitar.

Another vote for the PV ‘64 set. Love mine more and more each time I play them.

The ones made by the same company that made the rest of my guitar: Fender.
