I've got a fairly new digitech whammy pedal that just stopped working. The lights flash once when you plug in the power but that's it. Just wondering if anyone has any experience with this and if I could possibly get some advice

I don't own a Whammy but calling Digitech is probably the first step, especially if the pedal
is still under warranty.

Do you have the manual? I seem to remember there being a procedure for resetting the Whammy when this happens...it would appear to be a known issue easily fixed.

Unless it's something else in your case, of course.

EDIT: Just found the info, it's actually for recalibrating the treadle but I'm thinking you may have inadvertently put your Whammy into setup mode, so give this a go:

Calibrating the Treadle
In the unlikely event that the treadle pedal does not respond properly, or that the note does not
bend or return to the correct pitch, it may need to be recalibrated. The following steps outline
the procedure for treadle recalibration:
1. Disconnect the power from the WhammyTM pedal.
2. Press and hold the footswitch down while reconnecting the power. One of the preset LEDs
will blink indicating that you are in set up mode.
3. Rock the treadle fully forward (toe down) and fully back (toe up) two times.
4. Press the footswitch again to exit the set up mode.
This completes the treadle calibration procedure.

Thanks for the help. The re calibrating worked and it was working fine for a few minutes. I think the problem is with my power supply though since it cuts out and needs to be fiddled around with for it to turn on

Glad to help. At least you know the pedal's OK....you should be able to replace the PSU fairly cheaply, don't try to use a standard one (Boss pedals etc.) though, you need the proper replacement.

So I tried it put today with a mate's power supply and it worked fine. I feel kinda stupid now that I was freaking out over a broken adapter

This happens to my Whammy all the time, probably because I always have it plugged in.
