Yes, that's kinda similar to my issue, but it's my left wrist. Surgery a few years ago for bone-on-bone required removal of three bones to fix and I did not regain more than about 35-40% range of motion, so it's hard for me to finger the fretboard reliably. The scary thing is I may need to eventually get the right one done. It hurts more than the left ever did, but I've been, um...avoiding it. Looking good! I love the stainless fret markers. Have you noticed any problems with the fretboard shrinking back and leaving sharp edges at the markers?
No.
And at the moment, running wood heat in the house, & low humidity in the winter, the wood should never shrink any more.
Less than 40% humidity in the house, with the body & neck hanging a few feet from the wood stove.
