    Yep...guzzle water, chow down....regurgitate.
Usually my big one one does that with the hard food.... I think it swells when it hits the water, and sometimes looks like a $%%[email protected]# firehose on it's way back out.

Cats are awesome in several ways.....this is just one of them.
(has he / she tried to bury it yet ??...drag/throw that blanket in the chair down into it.)

Doesn't look like it was well chewed being as it was canned food so either the cat was in a rush or possibly has a tooth bothering him/her...Or simply had a tummy ache

I always get a kick how they will look at the mess and then look at you...

I just watched, “The Exorcist” again the other day. It could be demonic possession.

He launched his lunch from the chair with the hand towel on it.

Note the spreading 'splat pattern' from his barfing position on the chair. He obviously was going for maximum coverage with what he had to work with.

At least he wasn't on a rug this time. Both cats tend to head for carpet as soon as they get the urge. It could be that the towel he was sitting on when the eruption occurred was enough like a rug to satisfy him, not realizing that the lion's share (clever that!) of his payload would blow uselessly onto the relatively easy-to-clean fake wooden floor tiles below.

Now if you also had a dog that spill would be gone.

Been discussing exactly this with Mrs Wrighty earlier. Same scenario, shouts for food, (the cat, not Mrs W!), bolts down whatever he’s given, then gives it back. Just taken to feeding little but often, letting him graze.

Very little of our house has carpets/rugs. Yet out cat hauls a$$ to make it to one of those locations when sick, to my frustration. I woke up one night hearing the dry heaves in the hall (where there is a runner). I grabbed a paper on my nightstand and made it in time to catch it and was very proud of myself. The next morning I realized that it was a paper I had on my nightstand because I needed it.

My 15 year old cat threw up everyday. Projectile vomiting; a very big mess. Vet prescribed daily steroid pill, which helped immensely.

I love cats. Check out that "Your problem, Pal" look on the cat's mug.

I gave up on trying to catch them. We have 3 cats. Now I just get up in the morning and walk barefoot through our room, out to the hallway, and the 5-6 steps to the bathroom.
Hairballs, yack, nugget that hung on, I find them all.

Our two cats have dry food available at all times, but the highlight of their day is when, between 10:30AM and noon, they get to split a small can of soft catfood, in our case, Fancy Feast seafood-derived fishy-goop.

Indeed it would. When a cat starts gacking around here (3 cats, 5 dogs), the dogs come running for first dibs. Very flavorful, apparently.

Our dogs won't clean up kitty barf but they will go to the litterbox to grab some "Kitty Roca".

I wondered how painters would get that splatter pattern. Are the cats in a painters union? Benefits or Beneful?
