Ok, here is the video. It starts out really dark and is kind of grainy, but still proof it actually happened. :)

    editing to say:

Ok, that didn't work using Facebook (even though it was accepted by the forum software).
    Youtube is working.

Starts out really dark, and is recorded in the wrong aspect. Oh well.

It's a brewery. Doesn't get much easier than that. Just try to avoid tasting the goods until after and you've got it made

I liked the song and the singing - the vibe was definitely "Basemet Tapes" Dylan to me - and that band backing you sounded great!

Sounds like you did a solid job to me. Good going. Now you've got to find some local open mics. :)

I had performed live many times before I was scheduled to play in a show with several much more accomplished people than I. I mentioned being nervous to one of the other performers before the show, and she gave me some of the best encouragement I've ever heard: "The audience isn't nervous. Why should you be nervous? Just go put and play. Play. It's why we call it 'playing' music."

I want to thank everyone for their kind words and encouragement. This was a real learning experience for me. One of the things I love about this place is that everyone is so positive and encouraging. It is great that so many are willing to share their knowledge and experience. It really helped me take that next step.

Now I just have to figure out how to keep doing it. :)

Best thing to do is have fun and if you start to get nerves about it, close your eyes, block all other thoughts out and just think about the song.

    Good job! See, its easy!
I credit my granny, (mother's grandmother), with my lack of fear to perform. She would come stay with us, and we attended a small "mission" church, no piano, or organ. Seems like at the end of every service granny would say "brother Middlen, me and Arthur are going to do a special". I would cringe in my seat, while my buddies pointed, and she would get me to stand up, and sing harmony with her, (she was in her 80's at the time. Being an early teen, my voice wouldn't hold either, but we would get through it, and I would dare my friends to do the same!
Later in life, playing in bands, I knew I was much better now than then, and would power through even in the rowdiest clubs.
