Best of luck! Before the holidays last year, I just started eating smaller portions, cut out a lot of carbs/sugars, started eating more fruits/vegetables, drinking more water, etc. I’ve dropped over 15 pounds and have been able to keep it off. Got back into a pair of jeans that I hadn’t been able to fit into for a couple of years too!

Good luck with that water thing. I'm doing the pork rinds and pizza diet this week, although I might break down and have a salad with it.

Pasta salads are good, but when I'm in a hurry, I grab a handful of spring mix and throw it in a bowl, with some chopped up walnuts and garlic, cherry tomatoes, maybe sunflower seeds, Parmesan cheese, and my own homemade balsamic vinaigrette. It's probably more calories than mac salad.

I sometimes take a jar of bacon bits and chug them. That's some kind of salad.

My normal go to salad is: 2 cups iceberg lettuce with grated carrot an red cabbage, to that I add a couple of carrots, a couple of celery ribs, 2 cups of kale and a handful of cilantro, on top of which I put the juice of one lemon...

You didn't seriously think I would SHARE my oatmeal cookies that my wife made for ME with, and Alex did you? (I don't give him the raisins)

When I hit the salad bar at the spit shield places, I always include a hot cinnamon roll to go with my salad. (and a slab of roast, and some bacon. Then I go back and get some REAL food. The Basque say, wine if for drinking, and water is for washing your feet.

    7 days?

    OP,

Dude, I understand where you're coming from, but that's not healthy for so many reasons.
I'm a retired hospital RN. I don't know much, but that sounds way too long.
And watch out for water intoxication, screwing with your sodium levels etc, and mentation changes.

I do wish you well. I've done water fasting before. I actually drink a good amount of water on a daily basis, even more so when water fasting...

Since drastically cutting down on my intake of a certain carbonated drink, I now like filtered water... Black coffee too...
